We reported last month that UK employment was at its highest since 1974, and it would appear that Coventry and the West Midlands are seeing much of the benefit. Throughout 2019 many new opportunities for employment have arisen in the area thanks to investment from companies such as Amazon and NP Aerospace.
Over 400 jobs will be created this year at Amazons new warehouse in Warwickshire. Thanks to its great location and transport network the new fulfilment centre is focused around the distribution of products throughout the UK. The fulfilment centre is due to stock wine beer and spirits with Amazon planning on the location being its main distributer of alcohol.
Other good news comes in the form of NP Aerospace who after winning a new UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) contract worth £63m to maintain, support and upgrade military vehicles have announced they will support approximately 100 jobs in Coventry and 250 jobs across the UK supply chain until 2024.
Enigma Employment Coventry continue to offer both full time and part time roles for those seeking jobs across a wide range of industries. If you are looking to embark on a new career or in need of a new job, then please get in touch.
